The Meghalaya Board of School of Education, MBOSE has announced the Class 12th Board Exams 2020 new dates. The Board will conduct the examinations for remaining subjects on June 8, 9 and 10 respectively. The announcement has been made by the Education Minister Lahkmen Rymbui through a tweet from his official twitter handle.
The tweet reads, "MBOSE will conduct the exam for the remaining subject, Mathematics, Physical Education,& Statistics on the 8th,9th &10th June 2020. I know this is trying times but my dear Student we have to move on. No Pandemic can thwart your aspirations but follow the do & don't. My best wish"
Earlier the Meghalaya Board Class 12th examination of Mathematics, Physical Education and Statistics subjects were postponed due to lockdown in the country. These exams were scheduled to hold on March 23, 24 and 25, 2020.
In wake of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and lockdown, many Board, Universities and Institutes academic programme suffered delays. All major educational activities were postponed to control the pandemic outbreak. Many examinations were postponed to avoid mass gathering and community transmission of the epidemic disease.
