Maharashtra Government has announced to cancel the MSBSHSE Class 12th board exams for the year 2021 due to the pandemic outbreak of the Coronavirus. Previously the MSBSHSE announced to postpone the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) exam scheduled from April 23 to May 21, 2021 and the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exams were scheduled from April 29 to May 20, 2021.
Varsha Gaikwad, Maharashtra's School Education Minister, earlier stated in a press brief that the Maharashtra government had sent a proposal in this regard to the State Disaster Management Authority, which has been approved. The education minister informed of the Government's final decision to cancel Maharashtra HSC Exams 2021.
This year around 30 lakh students have registered for the Maharashtra Board Class 10th & 12th Exam 2021. The Maharashtra government earlier on May 28 announced to cancel the Class 10th board exams for the year 2021. Maharashtra's School Education Minister stated that the results of the class 10 board examinations will be based on the results of the 9th and 10th grade examinations (internal marks). We will attempt to announce the results for class 10th & 12th soon. Those who are dissatisfied with their board examination results may retake it.
