Amid the constant surge in COVID-19 cases across the country, the University of Mysore, Karnataka has once again postponed the KSET 2021 examination. The varsity has postponed the examination second time in a row. The Karnataka State Entrance Test 2021 was previously scheduled to be held on April 10. The examination was postponed by the authorities due to coronavirus pandemic havoc across the state and rescheduled on April 25.
Since the second wave of coronavirus pandemic is more ghastful, the University of Mysore again postponed the State Entrance Test, SET 2021 till further notice. New dates for the entrance exam will be announced by the varsity after monitoring the situation. The varsity has also instructed the candidates to keep an eye on the official website for further updates. Candidates who have applied for the examination can get the new dates through the official website of the University of Mysore at kset.uni-mysore.ac.in.

Karnataka SET 2021 Paper Pattern
The Karnataka SET examination will be conducted in 41 subjects. The written examination will comprise of two papers. Both the papers will consist of only objective type Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs).
Paper I - It will comprise of 50 compulsory questions of 100 marks and
Paper II - It will comprise of 100 compulsory questions of 200 marks.
The candidate will have to mark the correct options among the four other options for questions of Paper-I and Paper-II. The candidates have to mark the answers on the Optical Marks Reader (OMR) Sheet provided along with the test booklet.
