The admit card for the IBPS PO Mains Exam 2019 is expected to be released soon. The admit card will be made available on the official website of the IBPS, i.e., ibps.in.

As per the official notification, the IBPS PO Mains Exam 2019 is scheduled to be held on November 30, 2019.

Earlier, the result for the IBPS PO Prelims 2019 was declared by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) on November 01, 2019.

The candidates who appeared for the exam can visit the official website and check the result online.

The preliminary examination was conducted on October 12, 13 and 19, 2019 in various centres across the state. Result status is available online on the website till November 18.

The selection process comprises of preliminary exam followed by the main exam and interview. This recruitment drive will fill up 4336 posts of Probationary Officer posts in various Banks. Candidates can check for more related details from the official site of IBPS.

IBPS PO Mains 2019:  Exam Pattern

The IBPO PO Main exam will be conducted in the online mode. Like IBPS PO Mains 2017, this year also the Board is conducting a descriptive paper in its mains exam for selection of candidates to the post of Probationary Officer.

The penalty for wrong answers will be the same as in preliminary examination. One-fourth marks or 0.25 will be deducted d on the wrong answer to an objective question by the candidate 

Note: Candidates have to qualify in each of these tests by securing minimum cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS. The qualified candidates will be shortlisted for the interview examination.

IBPS PO 2019: Interview Examination

The successful candidates will be eligible for a face to face interview which carries a maximum of 100 marks. The minimum qualifying marks in the interview is 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates). 

The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in IBPS PO mains exam and interview round. The final score will be calculated with weightage of marks given to the main examination and interview round in the ratio of 80:20 respectively.
