The students have been desperately waiting for the declaration of CBSE Result 2022 for Class 10, 12 Term 1 Examinations. Initially, the board had asserted that the results would be announced in a short while after the Term 1 exams conclude. As the CBSE Term 2 Exam 2022 has been lined up in March 2022 and schools have shut down in almost every state, the fear of not performing upto the mark looms among student groups.
The CBSE Board's deferment on declaration of Term 1 results worsens this fear, as Term 1 marks carry 50% weightage while the Term 2 marks carry the remaining 50%. Thus, the students need to know their performance in CBSE Term 1 Exam 2022 so as to prepare accordingly for Term 2 exams.

School shutdown and other restrictions have posed a number of hassles for Class 10 and 12 students who are indulged in preparation of Term 2 Exams. The situation becomes even more challenging for Class 12 Science students, as the subjects falling in the category- Physics, Chemistry and Biology are highly practical based and cannot be perceived well through distance education. Physical presence in the class is a must for honing skills in these subjects.

This article will shed light on the CBSE Class 12 Chemistry Syllabus for Term 2, 2022. Chemistry is one such subject which is considered easy to study by a major fraction of students, while the organic part of it could be confusing at times. Good skills in Chemistry are a must for a bright career in Medical and some specific streams of Engineering, such as Chemical Engineering, Biomedical engineering etc.

The CBSE Board has issued the revised syllabus for Class 12, Chemistry for CBSE Board Exams 2021-22. The newly introduced syllabus of Chemistry is similar to that of the 2019-20 syllabus, as stated by the CBSE. No chapters have been newly added or exempted from the syllabus.

Topics that are to be covered for CBSE Term 2 Exam 2022 and marks distribution is mentioned herewith.
