Uttrakhand is starting Virtual classes in 500 schools of the state from today, November 16, 2019. Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat and Education Minister Arvind Pandey will inaugurate it from Rajiv Gandhi Navodaya Vidyalaya Nunarkheda.

It has been assumed that the project will benefit one lakh 90 thousand children of the state.

According to Media Reports, Education Minister Arvind Pandey said that 500 schools will be added to this scheme in the first phase and 600 schools in the second phase.

With the help of virtual classes, the condition of schools in remote areas and mountain areas can be seen live from the centre situated in Dehradun. Through this, the education quality of the state will improve.

"Virtual classroom is the latest technology. It is modern from the Smart Classroom and ICT Lab. Through virtual classrooms, communication can be live with children, teachers, parents, and others.' Education Minister Arvind Pandey added to his statement.

Through virtual classes, if the teacher of any particular subject is not available in the school still the education can be continued through virtual classes.

Schools can be monitored through this. This will prevent teachers from being absent from school without permission, including schools in remote areas. For this, four central studios will be built in Dehradun.
