NEHU BA Result
North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) has announced the results for BA even semester exams. Students can check their scores at the varsity’s official website www.nehu.ac.in.
HHowever, NEHU Shillong has released notification from the eligible candidates for admission into various courses commencing from August 2018. The last date for applying online admission for MA / MSc /M Com /M Lib ISc has been extended up to July 23, 2018.
The admission to the MA course will be done through an Admission Entrance Test held Test and viva-voce) in the Department of Education, NEHU, Tura campus to be on a date to be notified later.
For the Admission/Selection into the MBA (ABFT) Programme, Department of Agribusiness Management & Food Technology, NEHU, Tura Campus, merit list will be prepared based on the Composite Score of the following:
a. No. of seats = 15
b. MAT Score (80% weightage)
c. Marks secured in the GD/PI (20% weightage).
d. Other weightages given to the candidates in Qualifying Examination as per NEHU rules (RC-1 and RC-21regulations).
e. Reservations as per NEHU Rules.
The decision of the admission committee in all matters shall be binding and final. Candidates should bring the following documents in original for verification at the time of Interview and Provisional Admission, failing which their candidature will be cancelled:
1) Pass certificates/Mark Sheets/MAT Score Card from all board/council/University examinations starting from HSLC or equivalent up to the relevant Degree.
2) Valid caste certificate for SC/ST candidates issued by deputy commissioner (DC) or equivalent competent authority under the seal of DC’s office only.
3) Domicile certificate for those claiming to be the domicile of Meghalaya.
4) Any other documents in support of candidature.
How to apply?
Students applying for the Courses/Programmes in Shillong as well in Tura Campus are requested to apply online on payment of RS.220/- (Rs.110/- for SC/ST) by visiting varsity website www.nehu.ac.in. Candidates should pay the application fee online using Debit Card/Credit Card/ Net Banking through SBIIHDFC Bank.
