National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS)
It is to benefit students studying in Government/ local body schools/Government aided private schools. The parental income should not exceed Rs 1.5 lakh per annum. Only those students can take the test who have secured at least 55 per cent of marks in Class-VII BOSE conducts NMMS Examination every year along with State Level National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) in the month of November. The scholarship is paid at the rate of Rs 6000/ per annum to the student till he/ she completes his/her studies up to Class-XII. For further information, log on to www.mhrd. gov.in.
