Designation: Research Associate
Fellowship: Rs.36,000+HRA
Age: Maximum 28 years
Essential Qualification
Ph.D. in Earthquake Geology/Seismology/Geotectonic and Earthquake Engineering.
M.Sc. in Geology/Applied Geology/Earth Sciences/ Physics Geophysics/Seismology with at least 55% marks. At least ONE research paper published in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.
Desirable Qualification
Field and Research experience on geo-scientific study of earthquake hazards, vulnerability and risk assessment in Himalayan regions. Working knowledge of computers, geological mapping, geotectonic borehole logging and RS&GIS modeling.
Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Fellowship: Rs.25,000+HRA (NET qualified)
Rs.12,000+HRA (Non-NET qualified)
Age: Maximum 28 years
Essential Qualification
M.Sc. /M.Tech. in Applied Geology/Geology/Earth Sciences/Geophysics/Seismology/Geoinformatics/ Geotectonic & earthquake engineering with at least 55% of marks.
Candidates with experience in geological mapping, geophysical borehole logging, geospatial modeling, geotechnical survey shall be given preference.
The position is initially for a period of one year, extendable and co-terminus with the projects.
