Goa PSC recruitment 2018
Goa Public Service Commission (PSC) has issued a notification in connection with the recruitment of Assistant Professor. Interested candidates should apply on or before August 24, 2018.
Candidates should carefully read the Instructions available on the commission’s website before filling the application online.
In case of non-availability of suitable candidates with the knowledge of Konkani for the posts in professional colleges, Consultants in Directorate of Health Services and highly technical/scientific posts, the Goa PSC may recommend a candidate if otherwise found fit and this requirement can be relaxed by the Government, on the recommendation of the Goa Public Service Commission, if the Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do.

Assistant Professors in Goa College of Music

Educational & Other Qualifications:- Essential:
(i) Good Academic record with at least 55% of marks or equivalent grade at Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign University.
(ii) National Eligibility Test (NET)/State Level Eligibility Test (SET) shall remain the compulsory requirement for appointment as Assistant Professor: Provided, however, that candidates who are or have been awarded Ph. D. Degree in compliance of the “University Grants Commission (minimum standards and procedure for award of Ph. D. Degree), Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Colleges”. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: (i) PhD or MPhil in the relevant subject. (ii) Knowledge of Marathi.
Assistant Professor(Harmonium) in Goa College of Music
1 Post (resvd for General)
Pay scale: 15,600-39,100+6,000/- (pre-revised)
Age: Not exceeding 45 Years.
Essential: Educational & Other Qualifications:- Essential:
(i) Good Academic record with at least 55% of marks or equivalent grade at Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign University.

Associate Professor in Architecture

Pay Scale: 37,400-67,000+9,000/-(pre-revised) (As per revised pay matrix level 13)
Age: Not exceeding 45 Years.
Essential: Educational & Other Qualifications:- Essential:
(i) Bachelors and Masters Degree in Architecture with First Class or equivalent, either in Bachelors or Masters Degree.
(ii) Ph. D. or equivalent in appropriate discipline.
(iii) Minimum of 5 years experience in Teaching/Research Industry.
Note: In case of Architecture, Professional Practice of 5 years as certified by the Council of Architecture shall also be considered valid. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable:
(i) Post PhD publications and shall have guided Ph D students.
(ii) 2 years of post Ph D experience in teaching/Research/Industry.
(iii) Knowledge of Marathi.
