UGC NET December 2022 Phase 1 Exam: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the National Eligibility Test (NET) December 2022 Phase 1 exam from today, i.e., February 21, 2023. Candidates who are appearing in the UGC NET exam can check the important guidelines here.


UGC NET December 2022 Phase 1 Exam: Important Details

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the National Eligibility Test (NET) December 2022 Phase 1 exam starting today. Candidates can download their admit cards on the official website of the UGC NET, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the National Eligibility Test (NET) 2022 Phase 1 exam for a total of 57 subjects. The city and date of the exams were earlier announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
 

The UGC NET subject-wise exam dates and the schedule for phase 1 exams were earlier announced by the NTA. The UGC NET December 2022 Phase 1 Exam will be conducted starting today, i.e., February 21 to 24, 2023.

The UGC NET December 2022 Phase 1 Exam will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will be held from 09:00 am to 12:00 pm and the second shift will be held from 03:00 pm to 06:00 pm.


UGC NET December 2022 Phase 1 Exam: Important Guidelines

Candidates appearing in the UGC NET December 2022 Phase 1 Exam must go through the guidelines mentioned here before appearing in the exam:

  1. The students must report to the exam centre two hours prior to the exam's commencement to complete the frisking and registration formalities. The registration desk will be closed 30 minutes before the exam.
  2. A hard copy of the admit card must necessarily be carried by the candidates, along with a valid photo ID proof, to the exam center.
  3. Candidates have to bring a passport-size photograph (same as uploaded in the application form) to paste on the attendance sheet.
  4. Candidates are NOT allowed to carry stationery material , eatables (loose or packed), mobile phones or any electronic gadgets/ devices in the examination hall.
  5. Candidates are permitted to carry drinking water in a transparent water bottle, a small bottle of sanitizer (50 mg), face masks, gloves and sugar tablets/fruits (like banana/apple/orange) in case the candidate is diabetic.
  6. Strict adherence to COVID-appropriate behaviour is a must at all times at the exam centre.
  7. Candidates must drop the admit card and the rough sheets used by them in the drop box after the conclusion of the exam, while leaving.
